    so shinys r annoying to get soooooo i want to hear some tips

    p.s. chaining doesn't count cuz its only for certian pokemon
     
    Here's a nice tip.......the following is ranked from best to worst.

    1.) Chaining-You can get specific pokemon...you just have to be patient.

    2,) Luck- As much as I wanted to, you can't breed a shiny with a shiny for a shiny. You need to be extremely lucky to get one from breeding or just to find it hanging around in the grass when all you were doing is strolling by.

    3.) TRADE!- If you can't beat them, join them...Make friends while your at it.

    4.) Hacking- Just don't do this......No one aproves of it........Just trade for the damn thing if you need it.
     
    Chaining is your best chance, thought I've seen about 2-3 shinies without chaining, again that's entirely up to your luck, if you are shiny addict then your best bet is chaining.
     
    Alright, no chaining eh? Well in that case...

    Go into a patch of grass/cave/whatever and run around until you run into a pokemon. You should find a shiny pokemon after a few weeks of constant searching.

    Or you can soft reset your legendaries. You should get one after a few weeks.

    Simple question answered. Nuff said.
     
    @Nicole: After a few weeks??? I tried to reset for Charizard but I could not get it uptill now. I have also never met one by shiny chaining........ You must be very patient...

    Haha nah, I was just guessing! XD I don't soft reset or run around madly in the grass to find a shiny.

    Well, I never got luck... just got pkerus because a friend gave it to me...... dont you have any helps?
     
    No, there isn't any way to get help to find a Shiny. Either trade, cheat, chain, or SoftReset on Legends and Starters.
     
    If you want a shiny, you have to be dedicated. I've had a lot of chains break high but no shinies but I keep on trying... My luck is low but I can still get them if I try hard enough. If you just can't chain right and tutorials don't help, try soft resetting then. You won't even be thinking about it and a shiny might pop up. If SRing is too boring for you, then just play the game and stop worrying about it. Hatch or train a team while listening to some music or whatever and a shiny may pop up unexpectedly like that too (which you might want to carry a few masterballs around then since that's real annoying when you aren't prepared). If you're just too desperate or lazy, trading/hacking is your only option left. I think both of those suck because having the shiny isn't the main deal. Getting something super rare on your own the legit way is the best feeling. So good luck but you don't need that. ;D

    i got loadsa shinys by trading but my best one are my regigigas eevee and kyogre-all shiny by chainig on gba games

    To soft-reset you press L + R + START + SELECT

    It's where you keep getting into battlies with legendaries and you sit there and you reset every time you get into battle with the legendary until it's shiny =D
