Hocus Pocus Remake

OK, I'm working on getting my projex account up and running (thanks phoenix316), until then, I guess you'll have to deal with the poor transfer rates of FW.

Heh, got it working while writing this. Link here! I'll add descriptions later. Tell me if you have problems, although I won't be back until this afternoon.
 
you need to use the cheat "viewblock" to show where the level is. It is currently a direct remake, minus a few things, although I think I'll make my own levels once I get episode 1 done. (it's the shareware version, so I believe it is ok for me to make that, but not the rest)

I have just posted a game to waste your time on while you wait for more updates here. It's a remix of Breakout / Pong and is quite enjoyable. Unlike HPR, it's 99% complete. Click here.

W00t, level 2 is visually complete. It is now playable without Console Commands of any kind. No enemies are presant however. Feel free to check it out. (Link below) Check the News/Home tab for details on what's changed; I won't bother cluttering up the thread with the stuff that's on the game site.

Sorry to double post, but I figured that if anyone is watching this thread, you wouldn't notice an edit.

What started as an opening of GM to play with particle effects turned into a HPR edit. I've added enemies to level 2, and done some tweaking. I'd like to upload it to show y'all, but my host appears to be down. I'll be sure to upload it ASAP.
 
Well, I've uploaded it to my freewebs site. You can download it from there, but it will be slow. RPGI is still down, so I'll post it there when it returns.

Please read the in-game Version History to see what changes have been made. Hope you enjoy!

This game is amazing! Apart from the fact that the screen's a bit blurry, everything's looking great!
 
Ah.... Reminds me when I played Hocus Pocus in the recreation room in my school... Well, I think this is one awesome remake, the new monsters are cool, and the human skulls are... terrific.

I guess I'm the only one having the screen issue then. I don't mind though, so you don't have to worry about that.
 
Thanks very much, everyone, for the compliments. If you're so inclined, I've updated it again. Just a small change, but may be worth checking out.

Also, if you have the bandwidth, please download and install the mp3 music versions. I'll have the theme up until Wednesday, then will change it to another clip.
