It's true.. They're kinda wearing japanese outfits, but that's how the creator of Pokemon made it... Tate's kinda a girl name but it does not really matter cause I don't know much about games ^^

I never understood why the creators gave guys girls names.

Like there is an Team Magma admin named "TABITHA".

Then there was an elite four member named "SIDNEY"...Also I know a girl who has tate as her last name.

I STILL don't like the name 'Brock'... I've always thought of Tate as last name... oO Its rarely used as a first name.

The games made from Japanese, they have different cultures so I must understand xD

I thorght Tate was a girl too he just looked like one in my ruby game
 
When u mention tate as a girl it makes me think about the guy who dresses up as a cacturne (i can't remember his name) he acts like a girl as well as sounding like one.
He vs may in a contest and the grand festival
