6th Gen Honestly is it worth it.

    Should I purchase X & Y. because honestly im sure they will release something like Pokemon Z.
    should I just wait or should i go and purchase it. Let me know guys

    I think the over all game play was great except the post game play. I think it may be a good Idea to get it for the fact they may a memory link thing. Also if you use the game sync and rack up miles you can get rare candies Max revives and so forth.
     
    Ahh... no, it's not, unless you'd actually be interested in the story, since given current trends, Z/XY2 is likely to be a sequel.
     
    It comes down to this...
    Do you have $40 and want to play another Pokemon game?
     
    The whole game has a abundance of things to do and the post game is rich. Once poke transfers come out the game is going to open up to a whole new level. I feel this gen is going around for a while due to patches,events,Global trade link and more.

    If anything else do it for espurr
     
    Yes it is. I highly recommend this game. It's opening up wifi battle and trading worldwide to a whole other level. Also if they DO release Z, it might a sequeal of the first storyline, like what they did with B/W and B2/W2.
     
    We'll never know wether "Z" is going to be a remake or a sequel. So if i were you just buy it, if you've enough money to throw around, that is. And i'm pretty sure that the remake/sequel will come at least in 2015 or something. Or late 2014. But honestly, it's your choice and yours alone.
     
    Can you wait 12 months?

    The only real Post Game is WiFi Battles, so if that is fun for you Buy it now.

    If you want more post-game features, the "second version" usually comes through in a big way.

    But, it will be at least 12 months before you can even EXPECT a POSSIBLE "second version".
     
    There's no certainty that they will release Pokémon Z, it's just pure speculation right now. It's your choice whether to buy Pokémon X or Y, I'd definitely recommend them because I had a blast playing through the games. If you're unsure have a look at some youtube videos or some gaming reviews, that could help you make a decision.
