So I downloaded HTE, but I don't know how to open it, I see "Trainer-Editor" but I can't open it, any ideas please ?

A good idea is probably to not use HTE. It's an old tool and comes with its own problems that most old tools have. It's been completely replaced by HexManiacAdvance

It's better to have that problem with HMA since it's actually active and people can help troubleshoot it ;)
Do you get an error when trying to open it?
HMA requires .NET Desktop Runtime 6. If you don't already have it, you can get it here: https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/6.0
Make sure you get .NET Desktop Runtime, on the middle right. Not the other options
You can also join the HMA discord https://discord.gg/FQ3S7EggAJ to ask the developer directly

You... cloned the repository? Or at least downloaded the source code. That's not how you download a github release as a user.

From here ^ download one of the options with x86 ox x64 in the name (depending on your system specs). Those are the downloads with an .exe in them
