4th Gen How are you preparing for the release of HG/SS?

People won't we waiting on their chairs without doing anything until they did of hunger... So what do you do while the new games aren't released?

Some people says, playing the old G/S/C, to remember Johto.
Others don't, because they think it's better not to remember Johto, and when the game comes they'll be more excited about it.
Others just... continue their life.

So let's share some opinions herez!

im biting my hands off in anticipation.

Im actually playing through Crystal a little bit to get the learing curve and pokemon choices down. Im gonna get to the end so when HG/SS comes out i can mercilessly compare the maps.

I agree, the games are pretty exciting to hear they are finally going to be released. However, I live in the US, so I won't be getting the main English version until sometime next year when it is being released. So, basically to pass the time I'm not going back to play the originals nor am I contantly thinking about it. I've learned that these things only slow down the amount of time waited. So instead, I just continue on with my life and let day by day go by. I continue what I normally do while I also keep up to date with what is happening with the games. Every now and then I may review something from the original so I will easily remember what is what. All of these things simply help me pass the time, however it'll be awhile before I actually get to play the remakes, so I'm patient enough to wait.

Right now I've just been playing Platinum to calm my excitment.
I've also been trying not to use any generation II pokemon in my
teams so I can fully enjoy them in their home region ;)

I just made a major HG/SS theme for myself and anticipate the release in Japan!
I'll be playing the japanese version until the US version comes out (even though i'm European =/ )
So until then i'm raring up and just getting all the info obtainable!

I'm just doing whatever, trying to keep up with the news. I'm very excited for it though. If I could read Japanese I'd definitely import it, but sadly no, and I'd feel wierd not knowing what everyon is saying. Though... I could just have my silver version running while playing through it so I could just read that, but it'd be too much trouble and I'd still be missing anything that was added in...

I've been just continuing with my life, while also checking all the most up to date updates. I have also played a lot of G/S to get the feel back as well, just gets me more and more excited for these remakes!

I'm actually getting back into pokemon because of these games. I'm sooo excited. I'm playing Crystal version and I forgot how great it is!

Lets see, I am avoiding the originals like the plague because I want it to feel fresh and new and "Woah I don't remember that!"

I am also making a lot of fanart and pixel pictures of HG/SS (Such as my sig)
And Im playing pokemon diamond and trying to catch 999 pokemon so I can get mew from the ranch.

Finish Platinum (if I can get off my butt), maybe play Crystal again if I can get it to work (unlikely), read up on the news, and pre-order it as soon as I can. I kind of want to import but.. I don't think the game would be all that enjoyable if I can't read it.
