    So what are you going to use the special Spiky Eared Pichu for? I'd love to see someone do a Single Pokemon run through with him, Pain Split sounds useful in battle.

    I am however using it in Pokethlon, it has an different set of stats for the Pokethlon then a normal Pichu if you haven't heard, he had a higher Speed and Jump stat then the regular counter part, at the cost of lower Skill (which makes no sense btw)

    PS: Anyone know if its possible to get a Shiny Spiky Eared Pichu? I'll go for that as trade-bait if I can.
     
    Ehhh too be honest I am really getting tired of people asking these useless stupid questions. I am never going use it as a battle I am just using it as a tradeable collectible as I would have no use for it in battle.

    Me and my friend went and got it together, we battled them soon after. Little did he know that I had secretly taught mine Swagger. I won.
     
    Im a little uneducated on the whole Spiky-Ear Pichu matter, so I have two questions:

    Is it able to evolve?

    If so, does it carry the spiky-ear characteristic?
     
    Answer: No. It can't evolve, and it can't be traded away either, so if you plan to do a new game, make sure you move your Pikachu-colored Pichu to a different game so you can do the event again.

    I'm looking forward to traveling with the cute little Spiked Eared Pichu. It's adorable. ^_^ I might use it for Pokethelon.
     
    Don't go off-topic commenting on threads and your thoughts on them or replying and being off-topic, please. =/ If you think a thread is unnecessary, then report it next time, please.

    But I don't see this thread getting much life (case in point low replies thus far, not many of those actually adding discussion), or much beyond a 'yes or no' bunch of responses usually...and it's already been off-topic. The Red Gyarados thread was allowed as then there was less discussion and no implications of that thread, and it was a major Pokemon part of the plot, and a huge part of HGSS as well, whereas the same doesn't not apply to the SEP. Also, the 'what will your team thread' be already covers the answer as a search in that thread will show you how many people have said they are going to use it.

    So to cut down on repeat/similar threads, going to close this, sorry.
