2nd Gen How can I evolve my Pikachu?

How can I evolve my Pikachu? Do I need Thunderstone?

Yes.But in Pokemon Yellow,you're Pikachu has to be LV.50 before you could.

I thought you couldn't evolve it in yellow.. and yes you need Thunderstone!

In yellow version, Pikachu will hate your guts if you try to give it the Thunderstone. In other words, you can't.

My Pikachu is at level 60 and is not evolving.

Pikachu will never be able to evolve on Yellow, Unless you trade it to another game, evolve it and trade it back to Yellow.You cannot because Pikachu (Like on the Anime) is afraid to evolve.

Maybe because you caught a pikachu and than gave it the thunder stone..

If you trade Yellow Pikachu and evolve it, it becomes an ordinary Raichu, no following etc.

Thats so sad, but I like the way the happier it was the stronger in battle it was, it makes up for the lack of evolution

Also they stopped learning moves in R/B/Y if memory serves me correctly
