    Good evening everyone,

I just have a straightforward question. I made a post about an hour ago and it still says waiting for approval

So I'm not sure if my post was removed and would therefore like to know how you can tell if your post has been removed or not. Also that was my first post on here ever si I can't be familiar with the duration of how long it can take to get a post through because that was literally my first post ever on here. Also I can't find anything about that in the help section and don't want to reach out to the admins by clicking on "Contact us" and I also don't want to directly message some random mods or something because I don't know if they would even see my message

    Thanks in advance

Depending on the section, it will be anything up to 48 hours. Sections like our RHFG ones aim to try and look at queued posts within 48 hours and anything generally is when the sections mods/administrators are around to take a look. The reason your posts are in the queue is because you are under 5 posts. Therefore most things will get sent to the queue until you go over that many posts. This is to try and curb spam getting through.

The Contact Us form and Moderators literally exist to help anyone that has questions, so please utilise them if you are confused about anything.

    Your post has been approved

I did say try and aim to, to be fair. Sometimes people are busy doing other things so I'd advise just being a bit patient.
I get your point but it was after 48 hours. It's just annoying that you get information about the approval of your posts unless you directly contact the team. Also you shouldn't have to contact the team just to get a post approved. I just don't think this is the right approach because why should people even upload stuff on here if they have to contact this forum's team to get their post approved?
They should do that by their own free will instead of waiting until the user asks for their post to be approved. Also unfortuntaley it's quite popular for forums to limit new users, this makes it difficult for new users to participate in forums and also discourages users to participate because of all the limits that are put onto new accounts. I get why forums do this but it's also not wrong to look at it from a new user's perspective
