Besides when you're caught in the middle of a tight spot with someone and they're insulting you (or maybe not for some of you), are you easily offended by what people do or say, or do they just not phase you in the least? Additionally, is there anything out there that is garuanteed to offend you in any context?

I'm one of those people who gets offended easily. If anyone says that it's my fault for doing something wrong because of whatever I do daily, that's when I get offended.

I find a lot of things offensive, but most I can weather without loosing my cool. I only get into "HOW DARE YOU" territory when the severity of something is so great that I can't not be offended.

For example: douchey guy says something disparaging of women like they're too emotional and can't handle the stress of blah blah blah. Annoying, stupid, and offensive? Yes. But I've heard that and have snappy comebacks and good arguments I can use. However, if said douchey guy happens to be with a girlfriend and proceeds to do something douchey and controlling or whatever I'll have to say something and call him out.

So, basically, when disrespect goes from words and opinions into actions I'll get all how-dare-you on someone.

I find some things offensive, but they're so small I can deal. I only get all "HOW DARE YOU" when it's something that I take to heart and have no choice weather to be offended or not.

One word when used when playing around or even in a serious situation is the word gay or ******. I can't stand seeing the word. I tend to keep my cool at first, but if its being used continuously, then I'll get all "how dare you" territory. I find the word to be derogatory and it shouldn't be used in or out of context. Homosexual or not.

Most of the time I just take the hit cause I can't be bothered to argue / fight back. If it's really serious though, then the gloves come off ¬_____¬

Doesn't really phase me anymore. I know what my faults are, idc if they have to spit them in my face to make themselves feel better. Usually when I'm angry my stuttered speech stops and I start talking more intelligent and clear, which actually really helps me to win whatever true arguments I get into. Lol it's funny to hear myself change.

One thing you can do to get me upset is mention things about my family at home, or about my friends. That's bound to hurt me in more ways than one.

It offends me when people say what I do for a living doesn't matter and I shouldn't get paid for it because it's a hobby.

Basically, i'm an artist. Right now I work as a freelance graphic artist.
I'm currently going to college for Computer Animation/3D Art which is more geared towards game design.
When I graduate sometime this year I'll have a job as a game designer thanks to my school's career center and my high GPA.

I know i'm not doing anything beneficial to people like saving lives, but for some reason it just really bothers me when people say it's not a job and I shouldn't be getting paid for it.
I keep telling myself to do whatever makes me happy, though!

Uninformed accusations will always offend me. NEVER do that. If you want to accuse someone, make sure you have your facts straight first.

The other one is singling out people because of their interests and thinking less of them. As oxymoronical as it sounds, I am very intolerant to intolerance. If I see you do that with anyone, you can be sure I have lost some respect for you.

Nah, I usually don't get offended by anything. I get embarrassed pretty easy, so it's not like I'm immune to what people say, but I've just learned to deal with it, and it doesn't really phase me anymore when people say offensive things.

I get offended very easily, but I don't snap back. I just swallow it in, and when I explode, which is too rare....only exploded once in my life so far, I let it all out: details and all. Everybody thinks I'm not phased, since I just ignore at first...but I actually do care and pay attention.
