How did you get pokerus and where?

    For me, I was training my Sandslash in victory road in Hoen and I went to heal him and I found out from the Nurse Joy that my pokemon had beeen infected with pokerus! I thought it was pretty cool. Did you contract the virus randomly or through a trade? and if it was random, in what region?
     
    On my way to fortree city i just went to the pokemon center and nurse joy said to me Ur pokemon has been infected with pokerus then i cheaked and it was my delcatty

    Pokerus can be at any pokemon you battled. Once you battled wild pokemon with that, the pokemon you used for battle becomes infected with it. It's kinda random, and the chances you become infected by it is slim. Pokerus can help boost your pokemon's stat's when leveling up.(an answer to those who doesn't know)

    In emerald, I got infected by one in Victory road. Same as in Pearl.
     
    Seems like victory road is the place to train then! Since that's where my Sandslash was infected also
     
    When I got the virus I just noticed it randomly.
     
    I got mines though a trade with a friend of mine, and now almost all my pokemon have become infected, but I made sure my skitty became infected, that was priority for me!
     
    I got it from a wild magikarp :D
    My dragonite recieved it yay!
    I've got a load of pokerus' from trades though which i think is awesome...
     
    I got infected with the Poke'rus while battling the E4 in Emerald and Diamond. (After that I misused it's short length of time for two days...)

    yeah I have to watch cafefully how I use it as well. I messed around and put my DS on standby and forgot I was ev training with Pokerus and when I came back everyone was cured. That's why I made sure to make one pokemon the Designated virus holder!
     
    I got tricked into giving away one of my events to get a hacked Pokemon with it. Oh I was so easily fooled back then.
     
    I never went to the PokeCenter to know it had it that way.
     
    My Swampert had it from the beginning

    First pokerus was through a trade. Got a Lugia with pokerus traded to me.
     
    In my Pearl I captured a Shiny Magikarp which had it and now all my Pokemon have it, well my party Pokemon.
