How did you get pokerus and where?

I was ev training at the old chateau. I think i had it before but i wasted it.

I don't remember exactly when, but I healed my Pokemon in Sinnoh, and found out my Lucario (that I switched for Riolu later) had it. I couldn't believe it, so I deposited him into my PC and it spread to my Charizard and maybe my Grovyle if I remember right. They only had it a few hours, but it was pretty cool.

I got my Pokerus over Wi-Fi. It was a Lvl 100 Magmortar. I still have it...

The first time was on fire red, after my cousin traded me an infected Pokemon from her Ruby after she caught it from a wild Pokemon. Pretty lucky she was :]

On Sapphire, I was searching for some pokemon on Route 102/3, I forget what it was, and I notice my Swampert had it. After that, I trained as hard as I could in random places until it went away.

My first time... was...
I was training a new team, Nidoking, Weavile, Kingdra, Exeggutor, Magnezone, and Blaziken on that Route above the Battle Zone, because I didn't know what EVs or IVs were, and I though leveling them up by training would be better for stats... wow I was dumb... and I remember beating a Raticate and going back to the Pokemon Center, and I noticed one had the purple PkRs thingy on them, looked it up, found out the whole EV and IV thing, annnd... I haven't put down the game since O.o Seriously I got like, 830 + hours on this thing hahaha

The first time any of my Pokemon got the Pokerus was on Ruby. I think it was somewhere around Route 117. Unfortunately, I knew nothing about IVs or EVs then, but I knew that the Pokerus gave them a boost of some sort. I ended up forgetting about the Pokerus an deleted that save (I had placed a Pokemon with it in storage so it wouldn't lose it).
I finally got it again on Diamond, but I have no idea where or how any of my Pokemon got it.
