i've seen signatures that display multiple userbars and sometimes multiple music bars, and they cycle through them one at a time to save space (I am guessing because there isn't enough allowed room for them) how do I make something display one at a time and cycle though them? and will it work with just text... I would to do that with all the links in my signature

Through CSS, with the use of a overflow: auto; element. You can read more about CSS here.

However, using this CSS element to bypass the signature limits is against the rules.

What I think he was talking about is how people use .gif images to cycle through each banner. There are some websites that can make .gif files for you, but I don't know of any.

There's also this, which seems to generate a new random image out of the ones you uploaded every time the page is refreshed. I wish there was one for text though, I would use that in my own signature but unfortunately not.
