4th Gen How do I get Quilava happy again?

So this is the story:
I was battling Team Rocket in the radio station, but my Quilava almost always fainted but I had enough Revival Herbs luckily.
BUT, when I finally defeated Team Rocket, my Quilava didn't like me at all.

He just wanders around or looking at buildings.
And when I go to that lady in Goldenrod City, she says this: 'Your Pokémon doesn't like you at all, it looks mean.'

Quilava always loved me before, so how do I make him like me again?

It's obvious since you fed him with Revival Herbs.
Give him some massages, vitamins or just battle with him just as you would normally do. His happiness level will be restored eventually.

Walking also does the trick although that's slow. Don't let him faint either. Soothe Bell helps speed things up.
