Hello does anyone know if there is some sort of guide to IV Breeding? I've been trying to figure out how to do it but it is hard to figure out I have tried Google and Serebii and this is my last hope so please if anyone could give me info on it that would be nice and if this is in the wrong section could a mod or admin please move it to the suitable place or tell me so I could repost it somewhere anyway thanks in return.

The IVs for the baby are first created at random. Then, a random IV from either parent is inherited to the baby. Then, any random IV except an HP IV is selected from either parent and is passed to the baby. Finally, any random IV except an HP or Defense IV is selected from either parent and passed to the baby. These three random IVs may overlap, that is, the same random IV can be chosen to be inherited in the second, or third, IV transfer.

So does this mean if I EV Train two Pokemon's stats and breed then the offspring will have either of those stats?

No. EV training and IV breeding are two entirely different things. EVs are values that are gained through battling Pokemon (aka effort). Any freshly caught/obtained Pokemon will start out with 0 EVs. IVs are values individual for each stat that range on a scale of 0-31. The higher the number, the higher the stat will typically be. They are determined at random when you catch/obtain a Pokemon or by the pattern described in the above quote. Unlike EVs, IVs are unchangeable. Does this answer suffice?
