How do I set up a project in Visual Studio Code and link it to GitHub?

    I already downloaded the pokeemerald-expansion onto my computer, but I'm scared about missing crucial steps before the get-go.

    I already downloaded the pokeemerald-expansion onto my computer, but I'm scared about missing crucial steps before the get-go.
    What are the most important steps to set up a project in Visual Studio Code and link it to GitHub?
    You don't set up a project in VS Code, you just open it and browse the entire folder through it (shift right click the folder > Open w/ VS Code). Follow these set of tutorials and you'll be fine:


    Read both of them carefully and mix and match what you'll need and want from them both.
