Title says it all...when you're looking for a book, how do you choose one?
Looking at the title? reading a few pages? or maybe reading the summary on the back...post your thoughts!

I read the summary, a few pages, and if I'm hooked, I'm... hooked. XD

I usually check the summary on the back or just look at the front cover.

"you can't judge a book by its cover" ... or it was something like that... anyway... I agree with that if talking about humans... and possibly, I agree 50% in books. The first step to hook me is the title... the title is the second most important thing... if the title hooks me... I check the summary... and if I'm still hooked... I think about it... and if the book still doesn't gets me... but if I'm still hooked... I just check a few pages... I actually like reading books in the libraries. Actually, if a book is from a gender I like (like ninja XD) and the title says at least one word (like ninja now that I'm talking about ninja XD) ... I just grab it and read it without summary and nothing. I beg your pardon? most important thing to me in a book? ... the story, XD.

Look its cover first, read the title and then read the summary in the back. Sometimes i ask my friend first

Well if I EVER wanna read a book I look ta see if it has Dragons in it. ^_^

    Oh,

    I'm very mean if a book has a bad cover i won't touch it.XD

    I read the blurb on the cover to see if it sounds too terribly clich?, and if it doesn't, I'll read it. And I'll admit if the art is too garish I won't bother with it...no art is better than bad art; if the author can allow such a thing on his book it automatically makes me question his writing skills <_<;

I usally read the summry on the back and if that hooks me i read a page or two and then get it. If the summary doesn't hook me i still read a page or two just in case.

I am so prejudice at this...-.- I usually look at the cover art. Then i just skim the back summary...I love to read so I'd really read just about anything fiction!

Hm...first I look for catchy titles and/or covers. They don't have to be too fancy, but enough to grab my interest. Then, for me to figure out whether I want the book or not, I read the blurb on the back, and then look through a few pages of the book to see if it seems like something I'd want to read. ^_^

First, I check the cover. Second, if the cover looks cool or something, I read the title. Third, if I like the cover and the title, I read the summary on the back or whever the summary is. Last, if I like the cover, the title, and the summary, I get the book.

I look at the summary on the back...or I go by what my friends say if they suggested it.

I take a glance at the cover first XD I want to know what the book will be about. Then I take a look at the summary on the back.

I am a bookworm, so I am capable of reading a lot of books. :p

I usually read the summary, unless its a Stephen King book. If it is, I snatch it and start reading it =/

Never judge a book by its cover.

But, In Books, I actually do.

    Pretty cover = Read-y!

Boring Cover = Go to Summary = Read-y!
