How do you keep track of all the EV's your pokemon gather? for myself, I have a little notebook where I write them. How bout you?
    XD

Why write them down on a notebook when you can just use the 'counter' app?

I do that too, but I mean "long term". Like if you have to trade it away, You have to know the EV's!
    XD

    ;_;
    I'm terrible at this. XD
I only keep track of the EV's if it's for Competative Battles. I don't trade at all.

I keep master data files for each Pokémon species that I breed/EV train, and just note down the EVs gained every time I faint something. E.g:

    Code:
    Porygon-Z - Segfault

    SpA Spd HP
    10 10 2
    20 20 4
    30 30
    40 40
    ... ...

I usually just use the counter app, then put the total in my notebook.
    simple as that.
    XD

I've only ever EV'd one pokemon, a Flareon, and i used a combo of counter app and my phone. (counter resets when you switch off your DS)
So everytime i saved, before switching off, i'd write it down on my phone, then i'd add on what i got next time to the total in my phone, etc. etc.

Too bad. I love the satisfaction when you've finally Fully ev trained a pokemon.

! what?! Blasphemi! you Evil person! It's a sign of the apocalyps! Were doomed!
    XD just jokin'!

Eh, I never counted ev's when I was training. I just went with my gut and gave my Pokes Ev's in whatever they needed. The end result was pretty good as far as I'm concerned.

I keep it in a notebook because the Counter app thing gets reset if you turn your DS/DSi off.

    Notepad .txt file for me...

...a lot of my gaming notes end up as .txt files. XD

I only ever really battle competetively on shoddy, so for EV training in-game I just guestimate. ie: I trained my drapion in ATK, DEF, and SPE, but don't know the exact numbers, besides 255 in ATK. It's not perfect, but I like it.

    That, and it's easier xD
