4th Gen How do you tell if a Pokemon is fake

I don't know if this is the section for this but there are ALOT of ways to tell a poke is fake.
OT# the
exp some times
and that's just a few

Look towards the bottom part of the events list stickied at the top, it has a list that'll help you. I'd link to it in this post but the forum said I'm not allowed to post links to other sites (even though it's a link to THIS SITE) until my post count is 15 :\

if someone hacks a pokemon they usually give it moves that are really good or it can't learn

The ability might be different, it might be caught in a master ball, it might have moves it can't learn

well with the masterballs kinda wrong. I use 2 masterballs trying to catch shiny skomory because of the move it knows. People always thinks its hack which it isnt because i had to chain it, took be about 3 days just to get a shiny patch. is thats not always the case

All of these are good information. If it is a pokemon such as Darkrai, Shaymin, or Arceus.. bets are its hacked.

Well, the Master Ball shouldn't mean it's hacked (specially Shiny Pokémon in Masters...) But for example, certain Pokémon that can only be in Master Balls (All starters except the Johto ones, Fossil Pokémon, Eevee except from D/P), so if they're in other balls, they're Hacked.

wait... lol.

wasnt the starters from previous gens in pokeballs? i always thought this but i never really looked lol =/

I don't know if 'fake' is the right word, but Hacked would be. And you can tell by the possilbe odd distribution of stats, the 'Ball it's contained in, it's move set or ability, or the fact that it appears as Bad Egg in PBR. That's all I know of how to tell the difference.

It's a faked if it's hacked! Or by moves, like Pikachu cannot have Hyper Beam, well I'm not totattly sure. Or that it doesn't even look like a pokemon that would be created, it was one that some hacker made.
