[Questions] How do you think the Pokemon TCG scene is going to evolve?

What do you think the future holds? Will prices go down in the immediate future? Do you expect them to ever grow again? When, how and why?

And do you think the grading system will improve again? Will costs come back down? Will the service speed up? Will new providers join the scene?

Of course noone has a crystal ball, but I'm very curious to read what you think and why.

    I honestly don't know but getting rid of Dragon/Fairy was a mistake. ლ(ಠ_ಠ ლ)

As for collecting and pricing, the economic bubble will pop soon and we'll see significantly lowered (or should I say, normal) prices for cards again. It's a nostalgia cycle that we'll probably see the return of every anniversary, or when reprints are put out, or any number of factors.

Such is the life for collectors.

Dragon's actually back as of Evolving Skies.

I'm also not sure this bubble will outright "pop". The 20th Anniversary bubble never did truly pop. For the most part, it set a new normal on older cards. I think this one will deflate but not outright pop.

    But but but Fairies……..

And you're right, deflate is probably the better term for it.
