4th Gen How do you trade/battle in D/P/Pl?

    Heh, I'm a little confused >.<
    How do you battle or trade by someone over the internet?

    It's easy. Go downstairs to the Wi-Fi club (accessible when you get to Oreburgh) then talk to the middle receptionist. The game will be saved and you'll enter the Wi-Fi room. There, you can search for people to trade or battle with. However, this will only work if you can connect your DS to a Wi-Fi hotspot.
     
    and if you don't know where a wifi hotspot is, you can go to starbucks or Mc.Donalds or you can get a wifi browser inside of your house...you can go to staples because thats where I got mines at

    Wi-Fi and router-related help

    You'll need a wireless router in your home or some kind of awesome wifi hotspot. Once you have a Wifi connection and your own friend code, exchange friend codes when you find someone to trade/battle with. Here's something I found off of Google, but you should check out the 2 linked threads above.

    Router: Go onto Pokemon DPPt and go to Wi-fi set up on the menu. Go to search for more than one access point and it may come up with a result. Touch it with your stylus/pen. If it has a lock next to it, you won't be able to connect, and you'll need to unlock it. If it isnt locked, your DS will test it. If it succeeds... Go to GTS, battle tower, or the bottom of Pokemon centres and you can use Wi-fi!
