How do you. . .

For stress I play video games for some reason it helps calm me down.
For depression I listen to happy music like the songs found on my Pokemon soundtracks ^_^
 
I usually stick some loud and angry heavy metal on full blast. Works for me.

I also use computer games to relieve stress. Blasting the polygons out of some enemies does the trick for me too.
 
I am very terrible at handling both, and minor bouts of one or the other will often break me completely. However, I have some ways of coping...

For both, my dog can often cheer me up, if it's not too serious. Dogs are the best. *smiles slightly and hugs her doggy* Otherwise...I sometimes will just open up a good book, or else...write. Writing usually helps take my mind off things. I used to try to talk to friends if something stressed or depressed me, but now I do not bother...

Sometimes, if it is within my abilities, I try to handle the situation, to get rid of the cause of the stress or depression, but often it just leaves me even more messed-up.

Totally agree with that. I usually just do nothing and let me emotions play around. Or, I'd usually go to doing ... Er, would be inappropriate to post.
 
When I am trying to relieve stress, I usually go outside. The fresh air really helps me feel calm and tranquil. :33 That's what I did today before my APUSH exam, actually. XD

If I'm ever depressed, it really helps for me to talk with someone about how I'm feeling. There are very few people who I really confide in. I talk to my friends a lot, but my boyfriend is probably the one person I trust most to help me when I'm not feeling like myself~

For both, I talk to my book-in-a-bag. It's weird, but I get comfort from a book called Ender's Game. Weird, I know. I don't even know why.

Sometimes, if I get stressed at work, I just take a walk, or find one of my friends. After a few minutes away from the problem, I'm feeling better. So just getting away from it all helps with both stress and depression.

If I'm able to, I just write away the feelings.
 
I usually just focus my mind and think of good things or if someone done something bad to me which made me stressed I just think of how stupid they are LOL ^^
 
I mainly write, read, or surf the 'net. If all else fails, a couple hundred monsters on Maple Story are toast. Yes, it works for depression as well. Not sure why; maybe I'm just twisted like that.

For stress, idk, it seams to just build up untell I can't take it any more.
When I get depressed I go into a very lonely state of emotion and can't really seam to come out untell the next day or untell I fall asleep.

by reading manga, yelling, watching tv, or doing whatever the heck i please.

A) scream my head off into a pillow while listening to My Chemical Romance songs

B) Yell at this one girl in my class for no reason(hey, if it helps...)
 
I Don't Have Much Stress.

For Depression, I Do A Number Of Things -
1.Roll On The Floor And Laugh And Sing And Talk To Myself
2.Drink Myself Retarded
3.Sit In My Bed And Think
4.Take My Mind Off Of It By Reading/Watching TV/Going To A Friends House Ect.
5.Play My Guitar.
6.Study.
7.Listen To Music
8.Take A Relaxing Bath
9.Cry
10.***** At People (this is usually unintended)
11.Go Swimming
12.Bounce A Ball In My Room
13.Take A Nap
14.Pet My Dog

I Know.. I'm Wierd. XD
 
To relieve stress? To tell the truth, I usually either find refuge with my best friends / family or I start yelling when yet ANOTHER thing sets me off (For me, every day is erither impossibly good or completely awful.).
And if it's because I have to practice my clarinet?
Make squawking sounds at people.
