The latest episode that has shown up in the US is episode 549 (DP 81). The latest Japanese episode to air is episode 568 (DP 100). There's also the Pokémon Ranger special (DP 71 / 72) that haven't aired in the US but have aired in Japan, so taking that into account, there are 21 aired episodes in Japan that haven't aired in the US yet.
As for subs, there are none on YouTube, I don't think, so you're going to have to bear watching the episodes and not know what the hell they're talking about. If you can bear that, have fun, otherwise...you're on your own to find them in a place other than YouTube. Good luck with that. :#

Now that that was fixed. Just learn Japanese and watch the raw version. Also, as the Don has said, it's about 21 episodes.
You can watch the Japanese version easily even if you know no Japanese (like me, I only know a word here or there) although it is annoying when there's long bits of talking, especially conversations with Cynthia or Paul where you know it's interesting, but have no idea what they're going on about.

Not to mention Akagi's LONG demonic monologue. I am sure I picked up a few words, but I still have NO idea what he was raving about. It was the main point of the episode too! Darn it! That's the part where I want subs.
Overall then, I hate Pokemon episodes with subs. They can do it for Bleach, Naruto, or any other, but HELL NO Pokemon. It's a spoiler. (I like surprises.) :D

#PocketMonsters do subs but they're extremly picky and try to put it as mkv so no-one puts it on YouTube. But if you have Vista and a certain codec, you're laughing because you can import it to WMM (I put movie 10 subs on DVD).
I just looked on their site and they've got subs for The Galexy Gang's Charge part 1 and 2 and Elite Four Ryo plus a few more DP. Of course, I can't post the site here in this thread
