5th Gen How hard/easy is catching legendaries to you?

You can't catch Gensect. It's available by events.
 
@the first post, this applies to Black and White, well... because you only put down B/W Pokemon, so it can't really fit in PGC now. ;x

Hardest to catch would've been let's see... Cobalion, I believe. I KEPT ON TRYING TO CATCH IT OVER AND OVER AND OVER. Or! Thundurus, since in the end I kinda gave up and used the master ball on that. :x I know Virizion and Terrakion weren't that hard but I kept on refreshing for that one. D< As for Kyurem, yeah, that was relatively easy. Oh and Landorus was kinda easy too. Plus! For Tornadus I used the Master Ball. :3 tbh I don't know how many balls I used, though.

Also yes, you can catch Genesect buuut that's through non-legit methods, so meh. Technically you can get it, just not officially.

Yesterday I battled Landorus and he was such a pain to catch =D

Honestly, I don't catch the legendaries, my friend does. He is extremely lucky because somehow, he caught them all with a pokeball. (How does he do that?)

The most Pokeballs I wasted on any of the Pokemon was about 6 or so...

I have the feeling that they made Legendaries easier to catch in this generation. I literally captured Reshiram using just one Pokeball, and Tornadus with two Pokeballs. The only one that brought a challenge was Kyurem.
 
I for some reason never have problems catching legendaries. I even catch all may legendaries in Luxury Balls (It just adds a little challenge for me).

Heres an overview:
Victini - Uncaught (I missed the Event)
Cobalion - Luxury Ball (I threw this first thing before attacking and caught it: Non-Critical)
Terrakion - Luxury Ball (Normal Catching tactics though his health was mid-range)
Virizion - Luxury Ball (Critical Catch at full HP)
Reshiram - Uncaught (I have White Version)
Zekrom - Premier Ball (Normal Catching tactics, I did not know where to get Luxury Balls then)
Thundurus - Luxury Ball (Used False Swipes and a Quick Claw alot, it also took forever)
Tornadus - Uncaught (I have White Version)
Landorus - Uncaught (I have no Tornadus)
Kyurem - Luxury Ball (This was HARD, Used False Swipes and was the only legendary i restarted on)
Keldeo - Uncaught (Currently Impossible)
Meoletta - Uncaught (Currently Impossible)
Gensect - Uncaught (Currently Impossible)
 
Most of the legendaries were fairly straightforward for me. The ice dragon was a bit troublesome though. On the otherhand Metagross was godly. That thing took me like 50+ balls before it finally went down. There was this random Cherrim too which just WOULD NOT CAPTURE. I threw like 10 balls at it and in the end, it suicided itself with Take Down. Those legendary pokemon were nothing compared to that Cherrim and Metagross ¬___¬
 
Huh, I haven't gotten far into the Pokemon BW game (Well... I just started the league...) u, but I have managed to catch one of the legendary Pokemon's you listed, Victini. I thought he was fairly easy and considering Victini was Physic and Fire people would think it's tough. But it's only level 15 so... Yeah. I had a level 30 Pignite at the moment and I esily caught it using the move Smog to poison it, then use Arm Thrust to lower it HP. Finally I used a Ultra Ball to catch it! Yay! But, I wouldn't have wasted a Master ball on it :P

IIRC, about 50-something Ultra Balls, a Quick Ball, a few Dusk Balls, and caught in a Timer Ball.

How many Balls did you wasted at the easy legandary Pkmn? And which ball?
1 Ball each. Zekrom took one Luxury Ball, and Cobalion took one Quick Ball.
 
The easiest legendary for me to catch was Victini. I weakened it and paralysed it with blitzle and it only took one nest ball to capture. The hardest was Cobalion which took around 30 dusk balls to catch.

None of the legendaries were really difficult for me in B/W.I honestly spent 3 maybe 4 tries at the most trying to catch them, which is surprising considering that i would end up spending hours trying to catch legendaries in emerald,diamond,and soulsilver(Groudon took me from 8PM-6AM).

I caught the steel/fighting type in a ultra ball first try. Reshiram in a poke ball after a while.

Tornadus. My friends were able to catch him with Quick Balls without weakening him very much, all within the first two or three tries. I had him asleep, down to 1 HP with False Swipe, and repeatedly used Quick Balls and all other kinds of Balls, and it still took me like 7 tries to catch him.

Well, as I said, Tornadus was the hardest, and I blew about 5 to 10 Balls of various types each time on him.

Not many. I caught Victini in three Great Balls, Reshiram in one Ultra Ball, and Landorus in three Ultra Balls.

- I'd say Thundurus since he kept running away every time he awoke or just killed my pokemon that was using Mean Look.

- All of them were really easy for me to catch minus Thundurus of course -_- they all went down after like the 4th ultra ball I threw

Kyurem was the hardest legendary ever! It took me all of my Ultra Balls, Reshiram was the easiest legendary ever! Only 1 Ultra Ball and i caught it!
 
Way harder than easier for me in most cases.

I caught guys like Palkia and Zekrom with my first ball back then though but that kind of luck's rare for me nowadays.

Most if not all of the other legendaries gave me hell when it came to catching them, especially Origin Form Giratina oh god that was excruciating.
