3rd Gen How long to SR?

Nope it works on the advanced games too. You save in front of the Pokemon you want to be shiny, enter the battle. If it's not shiny, you SR.

You guys waste this much time for a Pokemon that is a different color...

woahhh!!! are you that guys dedicated????

I am very dedicated to this Groudon. :D
I refuse to waste the hours I have spent SRing by catching a normal Groudon.
I think I'm up to like 16 hours now, probably more. (I lost count ages ago)

I can't believe how long it's taking. The Rayquaza took 40 MINUTES SRing for the shiny. :(

It's not a waste of time to the people that want a shiny Pokemon. It all pays off afterward.

Anyway, I've never SRed for anything, but I might SR for Rayquaza, like most of you. That's the only shiny I'm really interested in, other than Eevee, which I can chain for in Diamond.

I'm thinking about SRing on my Sapphire for Kyogre and Rayquaza... although I only have one masterball :(.

If I do do it though, it'll be for the Kyogre first, then Rayquaza on Emerald.

1/8142 chances,still up to it????

I personally tried SR'ing for a shiny evee in Fire Red while on the way to california(6 hour car ride), so i could get any shiny eveelution I wanted. 6 hours and not 1 shiny Evee.

all you need is patience dude...
look at the other trainers doing SR...
they are really determined.

Yea, but after 6 hours it was not worth it for me =/

I have yet to capture a shiny pokemon! I have been SRing for almost 12 hours total.

I only SR so I can get good competitive legends, most of the shinies don't seem worth it, however I got incredibly lucky that within 15 minutes of SRing on Emerald, I got a Shiny Adament Beldum with Max Attack IVs
