How many albums have you collected already?

This. I actually own maybe 5 CDs, plus a few I gave my sister because they got in my way.

If ones not actually bought on a physical CD count... 300 or so.

Most of which are by: Nirvana, Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, AC/DC, Melvins, Mother Love Bone, Love Battery, Pantera, Megadeth, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jane's Addiction, Mudhoney, Screaming Trees, Tad etc.

I'm not to concerned with getting hard copies of my albums, although I make a point of it with my Guns N' Roses albums. I have all of the proper albums on CD.

That means:

Appetite For Destruction
GN'R Lies
Use Your Illusion I
Use Your Illusion II
The Spaghetti Incident?
Chinese Democracy

No, Greatest Hits albums for anyone are an absolute disgrace and should be banned at all costs. They rarely get the best songs, only the most commercially successful - besides, it's not as the artists originally intended them - many albums have a theme/meaning, which is lost when the songs are broken up.
