    Well, I put this up, 'cause I was wondering, like always, if we had any boy or girl scouts in our midst. I saw tmbjr's "Eagle Scout" custom title, so I kinda was 'inspired' if you will by that. Eheh...^^;;; Anyways, I myself am a Cadette, this is my fifth year in girl scouts. -mock sniffs- Don't laugh at me... Please, girl scouting is a lot more then most people think. We don't sit around and bake cookies -I despise cooking- we actually go camping and whatnot. I love it! But, anybody else a scout?

    I was a Girl Guide for a few years...but during my last year I was the oldest one there and I couldn't stand a crowd of nine-year-olds and their psycho mothers...so I left. Also, we didn't do anything more exciting than make socks for homeless people. x_X

    I never joined Girl Scouts because...

    I dunno... :P

    Gah... Now I feel pretty stupid for creating this topic. >.<

    Anyway... I've heard of the Girl Guides, like another branch of girl-scouting outside the U.S., right?

    im not a boy scout , im a different scout , What i do is i look for reports and i clarify them.

    hey! a fellow scouter is among us...

    I've never had much contact with girl scouts (the boys in my troop joke around about them tho...), but I heard that they do a lot of the same stuff Boy scouts do (camping, first aid, all that cool stuff...)

    Ah, I'm not a Girl Scout myself, but my brother is in Boy Scouts. ^_^ I think this topic was a good idea, Blaine.

    Yes. But we don't have anything called girls and boys Scouting here.
    We do all stuff together instead.It is so much funnier that way. ^o^

    Don't feel that way. You're getting replies. It's gotta be a successful topic. o_O And yes, I suppose Girl Guides is the Canadian equivalent of Girl Scouts. It may be in other countries, but.. *shrugs* I only know of its existence up here. ^_^;;

    I used to be in Girl Guides. I quit before I got to Pathfinders. =\

    A lot of the people who were once "scouts" dropped out... A lot of times people think it isn't the "cool" thing to do. However ther are lots of other reasons.

    I'm not using quotes for my replies to the other posts.

    tmbjr- We do, do a lot of similar activities that is. The whole CPR training and what not. Lots of camping, it's pretty much the same.

    Kayleigh- Thanks! ^^
