I have no idea what the exact number would be, but probably way less than you're thinking it'd be worth, unless it's all in flawless, mint/near mint condition.

By the way, regarding the cards, we do have a thread here for them: https://www.pokecommunity.com/threads/274173

If you list them individually and only 4 at a time between pricings, I may actually be of service in helping you price them out.

If all or most of them are in or near mint, I would have to say around $100 max, probably somewhere along the lines of $80. Unless it's a legendary or really strong, even rares will be around $.50 max so I may even be overestimating there.

Of course, if you have a misprint, or have an especially rare holo, it could be worth a lot more.

Okay, that might be underselling it a fair bit. But it would be very hard to move all that stuff at once.

For the common/uncommon total in good condition your looking at $10 for the bunch. As for the rares i would say no more then 0.30 cent a piece if you are looking to bulk sell them so they could fetch around $40-50 tops again condition pending and the market for those cards. Level X can sell ok if you find a collector but because they aren't playable in modified format they may sell rather low for a buck or two. No more then $20 for the groupe of Lv X. For the EX cards it would be more helpful if we knew which 3 you had, but since we don't im going to say don't assume more then $5 a piece so $15 total for the three.

The rest of the stuff could be worth anything from another couple of bucks upwards to $50 or so depending on if you are willing to sit on it and wait for stuff to sell individually. In bulk i think a safe bet would be to expect in the $100-150 range. Your best bet may be sort these out and figure out which are your top dollar cards and sell those individually and bulk the rest of the stuff for $10-15 bucks or so. You wont make a fortune off of these but a decent chunk of change.

I sold my old school cards in the mid 2000's for a couple hundred bucks. I had a mammoth collection but it seems even with numbers I'd probably get much less today... hmm.

That's simply because the bulk of the collectors with money have already completed their collections of the early sets, so they haven't been as in demand of late.
