How often do you play Pokemon?

So how often do you pick up your console and play Pokemon? Do you play everyday? Or has your desire to play dwindled recently and you find yourself playing once a month or so? Either way what keeps you playing/has put you off?

I usually play at least once a day, usually for an hour minimum each session and just have the TV/YouTube on in the background whilst relaxing. I've been playing a lot more recently as it's the summer holidays and I have been replaying a lot of the games (currently on White) with different teams that I've never used before so that keeps my interest high.

i actually play 2-3hrs a day, a bit less on school days now that i'm back, but i seriously wish i played more. [i know that would be unhealthy and excessive but i love pokemon.]
i have an awfully low attention span so i need to be watching something or listening to something if i'm shiny hunting or i need to be actually playing through the games.

however because my mind is buzzing about pokemon i find it difficult to play games i also want to play like mario kart and achhd. being addicted has its ups and downs i guess.

edit- so i checked my activity log to see how much i actually play. and 4 hours today alone. so yeah. i play a lot...

I feel guilty as a Pokemon mod, but I rarely play these days.

Like, I would play my Alpha Sapphire copy more, but the thing is, I feel like I've kinda done all there is to do? I'm not going to challenge the Battle Maison because it's boring, challenging the Elite Four again gets boring after a while, and I'm rarely in the mood to really EV train more Pokemon for my team. I really just want to start fresh with Pokemon Sun & Moon and see where that takes me.

Yeah I can see where you're coming from, it's become rare that'll I'll play X or Omega Ruby recently cause I find them boring after the main game is completed. Whereas the older games have better post-game content so i find myself putting a lot more time into them.

I bought Y when it came out, and played for awhile, then put it away for a couple years.

I started watching Twitch and that started to get me interested in the game again, so now starting earlier this year I beat Y and after that started completing a living dex and shiny hunting. I also bought X and Omega Ruby and am working on those as well was Black 2, which I bought before X/Y came out but never completed.

Usually I play everyday, probably anywhere between 1 and 6 hours daily. Shiny hunting usually takes up a majority of it.

I take a lot of breaks while playing a Pokemon game after the main story. I'm currently only doing post-story stuff in all of the games and only playing them a few hours every couple days. I'm currently more focused on beating a ton of other older GBA games after having them forever :P But Sun/Moon will probably be my main handheld focus when they come out, I plan on not having much else to do except on real consoles.

I don't play much anymore, but I'm getting back into it with Pokemon Red VC. I'm also going to start running FireRed again, and then all the others. Really, I just need to dig them out. When I did play them often, I played 1-3 hours a day, with 2-5 on weekends. I multitasked multiple DSs, too.

I would play any new Pokemon games I get (hack or otherwise) at least once a day. But after I beat it and not have much else story-wide to do, I tend to just leave it. Maybe the occasional stop in to look at my team, though.
