How often do you rename your Pokemon?

By this, I mean go use the "Name Rating" services, when in reality all he does is change the name.

I personally rarely use it, but sometimes I just come up with a random name that I later hate or I misspell something so I go there to correct it. Happens once in five playthroughs, I reckon. And it's usually only one Pokemon, since he can't be programmed to be all "FIVE STARS" without being random.

Do you ever visit the name rater?

The only time I've really visited the Name Rater was if I was planning on giving a Pokemon a nickname, but forgot to when I caught it. As for renaming a Pokemon, I can't think of too many times I've done it.

I don't often use the Name Rater as I very rarely nickname my Pokemon.

If I like nicknamed one of my Pokemon something really stupid I'll go back to the Name Rater and change it. Besides that, I never talk to the guy,

I do it all the time if the pokemon in question evolves. I just feel I need to change it since its more powerful now. Not sure why.

I nickname my Pokemon after my final team is finalized so just after i beat all the gym leaders i will give them nicknames.

I don't really use him often, since I usually name my Pokemon the first thing that comes to mind and I'm not fond of change. I rarely decide to change a Pokemon's name though, for example, if it evolves and I don't feel like the name suits that species. I had a Vulpix named Kiara and when it evolved, I changed it to Klare cause I thought that suited Ninetales more than Kiara. I have a Pignite named Snipe in Black 2 that I was also considering changing, but can't think of anything, haha. The usual Bacondorf might work. ;)
