How tall are you, and how does it affect you?

Last time I was at the doctor they got me at 5'10", so I'm maybe 5'11" by now? XD It... doesn't really affect me at all, I guess. I mean, my mom is always getting me to get things out of cabinets she can't easily reach and such... but that's about it.
 
I am 5'1". And that to me, that is pretty short. It does affect me at times. Epsecially since I can't reach things that are very high up. I have to get a step stool or get someone that is taller than me to get the item. It is so annoying. x.x I wish I was taller.

Oh another thing that is then I don't have to work hard to get to my ideal weight. Because right now if I was about 5'6" or higher...177 pounds will be decent. It will be perfect. But since I am short...it isn't perfect. I still need to lose more weight.
 
AGE 20. I'M 5'1". WHOOOOO.

:| I'm actually 5'1 1/2". Apparently that half an inch matters since whenever I get myself measured at the doctor's, they always mention it. (Why can't they just round or use centimetres?)

Regardless, I am short. I've learnt to accept it. The only time it ever affects me is when I can't reach things on high-up shelves and when my taller friends use me as an armrest. (The latter happens more often than the former, sadly.)

Im 179 cm, when i last measured my self, and i weigh 50 KG, so im fairly skinny. and sorta tall for my age? meh, my GFs 160, so yeah. lol
 
I'm 5'4, and compared to my friends, slightly shorter (my friends average around 5'7, give or take an inch or so.) Last year I was about their height, this year I grew about 1/2 inch and they grew like...4 or 5 x_x It doesn't affect me though. I just hate it when my friends walk by and pat my head or something cause it makes me feel reallyyy smallll xD
 
I'm 5'3''/5'4'', and although it's supposedly average, I'm the constant butt of everyone's short jokes. D: Even my own mother's...
 
5'8". Just around average around my family and friends, so I don't give much of a care.
 
I am tall (6"2) and I don't really care. People at my school always think height is the answer to everything. I wish I was the average height like 5"8 or something.

So I vote for the, "I don't care," option.

I'm 5'2"-5'3" (157-159 cm, if my conversion's correct), which means that I'm pretty damn short for a guy of my age. It doesn't really affect my daily life much; I can drive a car with ease and can actually reach for stuff on high shelves with a little bit of stretching, for instance. I still wouldn't mind being just a few inches taller, though.
 
I always get teased in school about my height! :)

I'm 14, 3rd Year Next Year, and I'm only between 5' and 5'4!

But it doesnt really matters...

As long as you're smart and cool in school, well, keeping it up is an option! :)

I'm about 181 or 182 cm, which equates to about 5'11 1/2" or something. Almost at the six foot mark. xD
Even so, I'm one of the shortest when compared to my friends. Then again, they're all a year older than me, so I may well catch up.
 
I'm 5'4 or 5'5. I'm 13, so I'm a fairly average height for my age! I've already passed out my mom though, she hates it, because she's now the shortest in the family! xDMost of my friends are a bit taller than me, but when I was younger I was taller than most of them, and I hated it. Thank god they caught up! :p
 
Depends on what you compare to... Here where I live, my height of 159 cm classifies as short. However, in Japan, it's about the average... I still consider myself pretty short. All my friends are around 10 cm taller than I am, so sometimes it's hard for me to get a turn to speak xD But normally it doesn't affect me in any way. I actually think it's quite good to be short, because short people are cute! :laugh:
 
Um. I was 4'11. And I'm 14.

Now I'm 5'1. Fast Metabolism for the win, no?

I'm not sure what exact height i am but it is around 5,3 5,4
I dont really feel that small because most of the other people I hang about with are smaller than me or just a tad taller.
 
I'm not the slightest tall, but I'm not really short either. My height is not something that attracts attention or anything, so it doesn't affect me in any way.
 
I'm 5'7. Sometimes I feel tall, and other times, I feel really short. I guess it just depends if I'm around tall people or short people. =P
