4th Gen How to best play the game.

Hi. i recently just purchased HG and am currently in Azalea Town. My question is should i focus on building a strong 6 pokemon team or would i be better off leveling up every pokemon i capture to give myself a large pool of strong pokemon?. This is my first ever pokemon game so i am unsure of what to do. any help is greatly appreciated.

try catching six-eight ones you think would be good for you team and train them. Catching all you don't have is good for you pokedex, but training them all is a pain.

really it depends on what you like :) me personally i catch every pokemon i can then chose 6 and level them up high.
some people only catch 6 pokemon and level them up, so really its your choice.

But since it is your first game i recomend catching everything since that way youll find out which pokemon you like, and which you dont :D
