    I only got pearl about an hour ago and already i am stuck. I understand you will obviously need that old mans boat but where and how do you find him?
     
    Dewford Town is in Hoenn, honey. Pearl is set in Sinnoh.
     
    Well if you still want to know for Hoenn version, then he's below Petalburg Woods

    How do you ask him to take you to drewford town?
    I don't think he is the sailer because he challenged me and i won him, now he just says you can't by pokemon.
