How to hack

    Hello! I'm completely new in the community and i joined just for one reason: I want to know how to make rom hack for the DS. Not that type of hack like Blaze Black/Volt White that only edits trainers and add more pokemon without trades. I have plans to a massive hack that edits the whole region, story and characters and add more than gen 5 pokemon. BUT, if the DS is very limmited and this is not possible at the moment, i'm willing to do this in a GBA version.

    For start i have 0 experience in rom hacking. I was planning to make this a Fan Game whith RPG maker, but Uranium is a clear example that this is not a good idea. Cuz of that, i swapped to the rom hacking world.

    Even if i'm a complete noob in the subject i'm completely determined to study, learn and do a good job.

    My plan is

    1: A whole new Region
    2: New Story
    3: New Characters
    4: New music
    5: Gen 6 Pokemon and MAYBE 7.
    6: If Possible, pokemon follow you

    And, sorry for my bad english
     
    I'm also like you..... Can we create a hack with the plans of yours? I too waited for a long time for a good hack to appear but I can't wait anymore..... So, Lets create an epic hack with our team! Lets Name our Team..... Guess the Team Name and Hack Name of ours if You accept.....
     
    You guys are at right place to start rom hacking...
    but you must have strong determination to create a hack and also a lot of free time...
    Most of the hack ideas stop due of loss of interest of hackers in it or lack of time...
    So be sure to have those thing...
    View tutorials and then start the actual hacking...
    We are always ready to help out :)
