[Other] How to insert items into the overworld (the items you find in the red pokeballs)

Hello, as the title explains, I am attempting to add items into the overworld, (such as Z-Crystals, Mega stones, among others) however, I am not sure how to go about this as I am relatively new to ROM hacking in general. The ROM I am using has CFRU and DPE on it, if that helps. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

So you want to show images in the overworld instead of poke balls?

No my intent is to add pokeballs containing items into the overworld, sorry if my wording was confusing

You have to add items as normal and use a script to give item using XSE

You can add your item image and pallate using nlz gba or UNLZ gba advance"DO NOT REPOINT POINTERS" . And change its image and palette using item image editor "BY SWAMPERT TOOLS" just edit the ????? Item's image and pallete OFFSET with your image and pallete offset where you imported the image and pallete.
Now go to item editor and change the and description from there "You need to REPOINT description if your new description's length is bigger than normal.
Now open g3t's item editor and change the index number of your newly added item.
Now you have to add a script to give the item.
You can se tutorial on youtube of XSE from the channel POKEMONXSE101 if you don't know scripting......

Just use HMA to insert image / pallete data. The Doc explains on how to set up Z-Crystals, Mega Stones etc. in G3T.
