Question: How to make profile look cool?

I have posted this question before - it got closed but now i am a supporter so i can edit my profile!!!!

I know how to insert backgrounds .etc

but how do you make boxes see-through!!!
if you dunno what i mean i mean like GavZ's profile... GavZ wont tell me :(

I need help please hurry :)

He is using Alpha transparent images. I know because he figured it out after asking me.

Also, try to Google "Color Theory". It will help you a bunch on the profile colors and pictures.

Sorry i didn't help you but i get asked like every day. And the credits go to Gerri for telling me.
If you want more colours visit here.
It has like everything.
But at the end of the day it's your own personal opionions and likes because we can't tell you how to make it look cool.
It's up to you to do that. My profile is space themed but not everyone likes space.
