    Hello. Is it possible to show a move's type icon rather than the TYPE/MOVE TYPE HERE text? For example, the Water type icon that you would find in the summary screen. Thank you.

    Yes, why wouldn't it?
    You have the entire source code of the games right in front of you. and about 8 palette slots completely unused in the battle scene of the game.
    You can surely load up a type icon sprite in the screen, and their palette in one of those slots.
    You just have to find the way to do it. I'd look at how the Pokémon Summary Screen handles it to get an idea.
