HOW TO TELL FAKE JAPANESE POKEMON CARDS FROM REAL

Like the title says I've looked and googled alot of different things to find info on how to spot fake Japanese Pokemon cards but haven't found much I found alot on English cards like they have to have the black or blue strip in the middle of the card but all the japanese cards I have don't does this mean they are fake or do Japanese cards not feature the strip in the middle of cards like they do here in the U.S any help or knowledge would help thanks
