4th Gen How to train up pokemon fast?

I need to train up my weak pokemon fast but im only in Ecruteak city and my lvl 7 Mareep can kill anything :(

It's called go to back to the first few routes, and grind. grind. grind. That, or, if you have a fairly high-leveled pokemon in comparison, do the switch technique or an exp. share.

Also, I think one of the simple questions threads would be better for a small question like this next time(:

No problem. Glad to help a fellow trainer. Also, I want to say. Try not to use Rare Candies. They stunt your pokemons stat growth. D;

But yeah, what I usually do before asking a question, is check if theres a sticky'd thread for questions that would fit my question, and use the search function to see if it hasn't been asked before.
