    We all know that Ash likes at least one of the girls that he has/is traveling with. I think they are all great. How will he choose? Misty likes him, but is kind of a brat. May might like him, but there are better guys for her. That leaves Dawn. Ding-ding-ding! I beleive we have a winner, although Kenny (i think) and that other guy from the DP season finale both like her. Post your thoughts here.
     
    Misty may be the one, but I doubt the anime will ever show him choosing one of the three.
     
    Inka-dink or eeny meeny miny moe for sure. Maybe he'll pull a rock-paper-scissors with all of them.

    Not really. "Gotta Catch Ya Later" made it clear that Misty has romantic feelings for Ash. However, Ash's feelings for Misty continued to remain ambiguous.

    Throughout the series, Ash has not given a clear cut indication of viewing Misty in a romantic sense. All of the "evidence" on his side of Pokeshipping can easily be disputed. However, Misty's crush on Ash is as solid as they come. Overall, Pokeshipping is an unrequited romance. 4Kids may support it, but that does not mean squat in the end. What the Japanese writers say go, not 4Kids.

    One-sidedness aside, they make a lousy couple. Both are short-tempered and stubborn people who are quite aggressive and domineering. If they were to get together, they would no doubt have a constant power struggle between them. Imagine them married with children arguing with one another on a twenty four/seven basis. Love to see that picture >_>

    Personally, I would rather see Misty with Tracey, since his calm and mature demeanor nicely balances her fiery personality.

    I do not mind Ash with May, since (unlike with Ash and Misty) their personalities actually do complement each other rather well. However, because they do not share any chemistry between them, I doubt they will get together. They are just platonic friends. If anything, May is most likely to end up with Drew, considering how blatant Contestshipping was made in the show.

    I have not seen much of the Sinnoh saga, but Ash and Dawn strike me as having an older brother/younger sister and student/teacher relationship. Penguinshipping seems more likely to me. However, like with Advanceshipping, I do not mind Pearlshipping. I just cannot see it transpiring in the show.

    So, if Ash will not choose any of the girls he has traveled with to be his romantic partner, who will it be? The answer to that is simple.

    It's very unlikey that he will ever "pick" anyone, these are not pieces of fruit or something, it's not like they'll line up and say

    "Hey, Ash could you choose please?" hahahahahha that would be very humorous.

    it will never be a choice IMO, he seems oblivious anyway, it would be one of them to start the thing rolling, which would have to be a huge gesture, as he's a bit blind.

    All that aside i think Pearlshipping would be cool.....but none are likely as its Ash....wouldn't it turn everything on its head if the writers decided that Ash was going to be gay from now on.......Misty would die......hehehehehehe
     
    yeah, it might be nice to have a bit of romance but I mean I really doubt the anime will ever have Ash in a romantic involvement with any of the other trainers.

    Interesting choices you have there. But by Jessity, do you mean Cassidy?

    The pairings that I see hinted in the show mutually are:

    Jessie x James
    Professor Oak x Delia (do not like this one. I much prefer Delia with Giovanni. However, even I will not deny how obvious it is made in the show)
    Drew x May
    Kenny x Dawn

    Now, if I were writing the show, here is what I would have happen:

    Jessie x James
    Giovanni x Delia (as a past relationship and Giovanni as Ash's father. While I will admit that it would be cliched for Giovanni to be Ash's father, it would still make for an interesting plot twist)
    Misty x Tracey
    Drew x May
    Kenny x Dawn or Zoey x Dawn (I am fine with either one. I do not, however, want to see her with Paul)
    Cassidy x Butch
    Harley x Captain Hook from Disney's Peter Pan (cross-over. Still, they would make a FABOLOUS couple)
