Hurricane Discussion

I actually wanna get caught in a Hurricane just to see what happens, I'd record everything that went by... and just try to survive it. It's perfectly survivable..if you have the proper equipment.

hmmm perfectly surviveable with the proper equipment? I hope you dident mean 100% chance you'll survive.. cuz that's wayyyyy off. You go ahead, and stand out in a hurricane.. especially if it's a category 5.. equipment, or not, you wont gain a much more survival percentage. Maybe you can try and go out for about a minute, and ''experiment'' o.o If you make it send the tape to the news for some money. $_$ (crazy Dizzy..) ^_^

Money, I don't need the money... I just wanna be in one, it sounds like a fun experience, since you'd be with your family (or friends in some cases) throughout the whole tragedy.. sure I'm crazy, we all are at times..
 
I heard on the news that hurricane Ivan has changed it's direction and may be hitting Florida by Monday on the northwestern side.

Sorry for my assumption, but most people put there lives on the line just for something like money... kind of sad.. fun experience? well I we all view things differently... no matter how crazy something may be to someone else, it may be fun to you, I respect that. (even though I dont find it as a fun experience, it's what you think) I know these hurricanes have been a horrible experience.. <_< Cant stand losing power, having floods all over the place, and many other after effects we have to deal with..

o0;; meep.....it hit jamaica...i take it florida is next...
 
Florida isn't next actually. It's heading towards Cuba and the Cayman Islands... But the devastation in Jamaica was just horrible. Two people even died... But the worst thing was that the bulk of the storm was actually to the south of Jamaica, so they didn't get te worst battering like Grenada did... These poor people :'(

Indeed it does look like it will pass us. Though in Jamaica there were 11 known people that have died as of now. =/ As for Ivan there hasent been much decrease in the winds at all.

Wait, if Florida is next, then why isn't it here? I heard on the news that it has gone a different way. Is that true? I also heard it kill people and has left devasted homes and boats. God I really feel sorry and wish I could help those people :(
 
I started to move towards the west...so only a small area of flordia is gonna get hit...I feel really bad for any cubans...
 
Me too, but atleast most of florida isn't affected anymore. ^_^

I feel sad for the Floridians that are getting hit :(. Just glad I'm not in that part.

I think it already hit Florida. I can't tell if I'm right.
 
Hurricane Ivan hasn't touched land yet on FLorida, and I think it won't I saw a predition on Channel 7 News and they said it might go to Lousiana, I hope Amphros23 don't get hit.
 
Man..... I live in Tampa, Florida and I'm kinda tired of all these Hurricanes, also, Ivan looks like it might not hit us last time I saw the news.

It's not gonna hit but only the top half of florida. It keeps moving to the west so there's little chance florida will get the full impact. I've heard some people say that it could go as far as texas...o_0...now I'm no weather expert....but isent that just a taaaad bit of course?
 
Yeah, I doubt it could hit Texas, and I'm glad it's getting the top half.
