Hyundai developing car that can walk!

See the video below to meet a cool budding creation that was unveiled just a few days ago. A car fit for the Sand Troopers of Star Wars to navigate through the desert of Tattooine!

Some of the comments I read were taken aback by this fanciful car, incredulous about how close we are to acheiving such a leap in technology, and even questioned whether or not we genuinely have use for the "four-legged car." I personally am intrigued, and eager to see future developments.

You can read more about its intended use as a first response rescue vehicle for difficult terrain here in this article.

I discovered this while on a quest for news articles with a more positive tone, which I think are much needed during today's heated debate climate. I am hopeful that this may save lives in disaster relief efforts around the world. Who knows? It may even be a vehicle for the navigation of terrain on new planets some day.

What do you think?

I'll check this out later once I'm home, but it kinda sounds like irl Transformers!

What boggles me is why there isn't a CES 2019 topic since this is where it was showcased along with tons of other gadgets and gizmos(many of which are sadly out of reach for the average consumer). One area of interest that caught my eye, outside of the walking car which is intriguing to say the least, is the upcoming releases for AMD and NVidia. AMD announced a new line of CPU's and GPU's(aka Graphics card) that in time will make their way into the Computers and Laptops you'll buy in the coming months. NVidia countered AMD's new GPU by releasing the RTX 2060 or a scaled down model of their RTX line that was released late last year that is slated to retail for about $350. 2060 is an extremely powerful GPU for the price as it's 2070 and 2080 cousins are easily double that($700-900 depending on where you buy).

As for the car, it's a step in the right direction. Star Wars definitely gives inspiration:
