    Ok, so to get straight to the point, my computer is freckin' cluttered. I need a program that will wipe everything, except Windows itself so that I can still use my computer and still have my beautiful desktop. Anyways, are there any programs like that?

    Reinstall Windows maybe? xD;

    Other than that I dunno what, sorry. =x

    the only thing I can think of that can clean your computer to factory clean is a re-install of windows, which would mean re-downloading updates and re-setting up everything. You could try using CCleaner or PC Decrapifier so see if that can help speed it up a little by cleaning the registry and removing junk programs. (for personal files, you may need to go through yourself and decide whether they're worth keep of not.)

    I recommend copying any files you want to save to another location, inserting your windows disk, and having it format and reinstall the hard drive.

    Okies. Well, as of right now I am stuck in a rut. I can't my XP cd, and Vista needs a key-codey thing which I don't have.

    SpaceMonger is a very cool tool that will scan your computer in a relatively short amount of time and display proportionally how much space your files are taking up. You can delete your files directly from its interface.

    Delete everything, but stay away from the Windows folder. And if you really need some things, store them on removable disks and then delete them from the computer. If you mean cluttered as in disorganised, then just make different folders for different things and sort all your files out.

    You might want to start with Spy Search&Destroy, to make sure y ou don't have any kind of spyware in your computer.

    Then.. go to your "Control Panel", you will find a section named "Add/Remove Programs", there you can selectively remove the programs that you don't think are using anymore.

    After that, go to "Program Files" in your hard drive, and you can start seeing what else is installed that you may or not use, for each folder name, do a search in Google to see "what is" and to check if it is safe to delete. There are files that you won't be able to delete.

    If you have any other folders in your Hard Drive, they can be anything, also check and maybe delete :)

    If you can afford it, a good external drive (1Tb ones are cheap nowadays) can be used to make a full backup, so you can delete without the risk of damaging your computer.
