Full description:
Spoiler:
Lamia
Lamia are creatures as old as time itself. Lamia once hailed from the ancient archipelago of Ouroboros in the Great Sea. They lived in structures akin to pyramids in the furthest reaches of the desert. They worship the snake god (unnamed as of yet) and are living reflections of his likeness.
In the past, lamia and humans lived in harmony. Time came to pass and the lamia would show the humans the art form now known as Alchemy. Seeking more power, the humans rebelled against their snake-like companions and slew most of their kind. The remaining lamia who carry a deep mistrust for humankind have retreated back into Northeastern Hesperia and have settled in the great city known as Lamiazan.
Although the memories of the peace and war between lamia and humans has faded from the timelines, Alchemic symbols still reference the great snake race.
Under the present Skylla (the title for the leader of their kind), the lamia launch assaults on the human expeditions in Hesperia.
Lamia have a keen senses (especially smell and sight; Lamia can see in the dark) and are resilient fighters. Furthermore, they have a natural affinity for Alchemy, and as such, are able to control nature to their will. Those that study magic are known as Seiren and those that relish in melee combat are known as Dustreavers.
Lich
Liches are skeletal terrors borne out of the bones of the fallen. Not all of the bones in a lich may come from the same body, or even the same species. This fact explains why most of the bones in a lich do not fit together well. Because of this, most liches are bound with cloth (like a mummy).
Within the skull of a lich lies a massive Philosopher's Stone. It is with the stone that the lich gains power and form. The lamia summon liches from the bodies of their victims; they call the summoned creatures "Shaitan" and use them to guard the stones within them.
The lich's abilities are far and many, including mastery over the elements, near immortality, disease, and curses. Under the command of the lamia, most desert liches attack their foes with whirlwinds of sand.
