I fear that I'm slightly obsessed with my hair!

This is not really a serious debate but more of a fun sort of discussion. I'm kind of obsessed with my hair. I have dyed it so many colours and had it in so many styles it's getting irritating. When its long I want it short, when it's short I want it long [like now] , I want it blonde when its dark and dark when its blonde, and the same goes for red, purple etc. I suppose it could be described as somewhat vain but I fear there's something wrong with me with my obsessive dyeing/bleaching/styling and that one day my hair might fall outor become sverely damaged fromall the abuse o.o

I think it branches from the fact that when I was small I never brushed my hair and it was a tangled mes...then I hit my preteens and wondered what the hell I was thinking and now I'm obsessed with it looking right o.O

So does anybody else feel like this about their own hair? Or is it just me in my own little creepy...hair obsessed world? xD

I know how you feel,i have dyed my hair many times but i finally just went for all black.I won't leave the house without my hair being perfect thou and ill keep a comb on me all day so i can fix it all day.

Oddly enough, I don't much obsess over my hair. Every once in awhile I go "oh, maybe I should get it cut," and I do. The problem is, I'm a lazy person, and hair is pretty low on my priorities list of stuff to make sure looks nice. I make sure to wash it and brush it and make sure it doesn't look like complete crap, but I don't take the time to make sure it looks its best, either. If that makes any sense at all.

When I first dye my hair or just get it cut, though, I can't stop looking and playing with it. Sometimes I even bust out my camera to show off! But the novelty wears off within a few days. *shrugs*

Omgosh I sooooo am
maybe not.

I pretty much let my hair grow natural, dont do any weird cuts. i just say "make it a lil shorter" when I have too.

Though I am slightly obsessed with combing/brushing my hair xD

last year, i think i grew my hair to shoulder length? I guess. I cant even tell that was me :P When my hair gets long it sorta curls in the back so yeah

I like my hair looking good, and I like change, so I change up my hair a lot but I wouldn't say i'm ~obsessed~. my hair is naturally black, so if I do anything color wise I have to lighten it first. I've gone a few shades lighter which hurt SO bad back when I was a freshman in high school. I've had: gold, purple, auburn, bright blonde, red, and magenta streaks in my hair (all of those colors by themselves as well as pairings: purple and red, then blonde and red).

I've also been trying to grow my hair out, but I get very impatient with that. I grew it out my junior year of high school and it was getting there by my senior year and then what did I do second semester? I chopped off nine inches and sported a short bob (which looked amazing). but now I'm growing out my hair again, and it's solid black, so I have to fight every urge to do something (although I did give myself bangs a few weeks ago).

this is much more in depth than I thought I would get.. :D

I'm not obsessed with my hair. I've had the same hairstyle since 8th grade and finally changed it in December and I really enjoy it. I'm also trying to grow it out, but that's easier said than done. My hair grows slow. And um, I had red hair for about three years til I dyed it. lol

I'm not obsessed or nonchalant about my hair. I feel as though I'm a happy medium. :) My hair is naturally wavy/curly and as the saying goes if you have curly hair you want straight hair and if you have straight hair you want curly hair. I love straight hair so I straighten my hair just about everyday until my awesome straightener broke and I've been forced to use my crappy back up one. :( So for the past three weeks I've just been wearing my hair curly because I hate my back up straightener and I don't want to spend all my money on a nice straightener.

I've only colored my hair once and it was only a strip of hair just to try it out. I know straightening is bad, but dying feels so much worse. That one strip alone is so dry because I had to bleach it before I could put the color in. At least with straightening you can just trim off the split ends after a few months.

As for length I like my hair to be long. I once cut my hair extremely short in third grade because I was a stupid little kid. I will never do that again. :D Although I do get trims every few months to keep up with any split ends from straightening. Plus I bought some heavy duty conditioner for the tips of my hair just to help savor their liveliness!

So overall I'm probably more concerned with the health of my hair then the overall look. Even if your hair is styled well if it's really dry or full of split ends it takes away from the look.

I have sexy haircuts, wet combs, and not to mention lots of hair-dyes. I'm extremely obsessed, I'm trying to keep my naturally black hair colored milk chocolate. I keep any cow-lick, unattractive hair piece out of the way. Call me a chaetophiliac =(

I am definitely obsessed when it comes to my hair, in fact it's not even the current hair color I want at the moment(preferring light brown). I tend to like my hair crazy looking(messy hair to be exact) rather than brushed or combed as it seems to be the style around here apart from little kids who get their hair done by their parents(I just go along with it). I only use a certain expensive shampoo which makes my hair smell fresh and look great and shiny.

Totally NOT obsessed with my hair. I leave it my natural color and cut it occasionally. Though I am tempted at times to try color extremes or just let it grow out I don't do that naturally because there is always some idiot complaining, and I'm just too lazy to endure the increased upkeep of such a style anyhow.

So in reality...I prefer low-maintenance hair. Hair that stays happy with regular shampooing and infrequent cutting is fine with me, I don't even really care much about the "style" of the cut. I let whoever I'm paying to do it choose what is best unless I'm just having it trimmed or chopped down entirely. XD
Chopped down as in about 3/4" or 1/2". XD
