4th Gen I hate you Lance!

So I had just finished the eight gyms and decided to see how far I could get elite four wise.

I beat all of them without a single Pokemon dieing, woo. ;O

My main 4 Pokemon were all levels 40-44.

Anyway, I'm happy about this and so I head to go finish Lance. Gyardos I take down easy. He's about to send out Dragonite so I send out Vaporeon to use Blizzard.

He OHKOs Vaporeon with Outrage. Then he simultaneously proceeds to OHKO all the rest of my Pokemon.

I hate you Lance. So much for beating the Elite Four on my first try with only 4 Pokemon.

OUCH. I just used my F-gator on him. He was pretty hella fast, and high some pretty good phys. attack, so
I ice fang'd the crap out of his Dragons. ^_^

lol Took me about 5 attempts to effing beat his Dragionites . But Totaro beat him by using sleep powder(through Metronome) and boulder throw xD(also metronme xD)

Dang... That had to hurt, I beat Lance using I think 2 pokemon, my Ampharos and my Glalie lol. Scratch that I used my Milotic as well.. lol so 3 lol

I had ground to 45 before trying the E4. Lapras made short work of him, with Ice beam. I had to Hyperpotion a few times, and Revive once or twice.

Sorry to hear about your sour luck, thogh. I have personaly found Pokemon with Ice STAB work better against dragon types, than pure waters.
If you can though, get your Vaporeon up a litttle higher. I have also found Vaporeon to be really defencive.

Mind you, you managed to get to Lance with little troube. That's pretty awesome. Especially with your team as it is.

Well you'll beat him in the end. =P Just need more luck, maybe more training/items.

But anyways, stuff like this should really go in the Journal thread (i.e. what you've done/battles you've had of interest, etc), so post there if you want to again, but not here (not merging as the other posts have gone into discussing Lance which isn't in the Journal Thread's real topic and all). Closed.
