  • Here's an image of my team so I don't have to type it all out: https://i.imgur.com/h8VIHiM.png

This is the run down: I am going to keep Gyarados, Mew and Cofagrigus no matter what. Gyarados is a good setup sweeper, nobody expects a burn, knockoff, defog Mew and Cofagrigus walls physical sweepers for days.

The problem here is Rhyperior, Landorus and Heatran. Landorus I would like to keep because most people expect a physical Landorus and switch in a wall. My Landorus is mixed and always catches people off guard. Rhyperior is a good physical wall but hardly ever does anything noticeable so I'm very willing to part with him, meaning I need some sort of physical wall replacement. My heatran set is a traptran and it occasionally has its uses, but like Rhyperior it doesn't work a majority of the time.

What can I replace Rhyperior, Heatran and MAYBE Landorus with to get better coverage?

  • While Rhyperior does see use in OU as a Talonflame check, Wash Rotom does that better. It also takes away an unwanted Water weakness:
    -Volt Switch
    -Hydro Pump
    -Will-o-Wisp
    -Pain Split/Rest
    Nature: Bold
    EVs: 248 HP/216 Def/44 Spe
    Item: Leftovers/Chesto Berry

    or
    -Volt Switch
    -Hydro Pump
    -Hidden Power (Ice)/Thunderbolt
    -Will-o-Wisp
    Nature: Modest
    EVs: 228 HP/60 SAtk/220 Spe
    Item: Leftovers

    or
    -Volt Switch
    -Hydro Pump
    -Thunderbolt/Hidden Power (Ice)
    -Trick
    Nature: Timid/Modest
    EVs: 4 HP/252 SAtk/252 Spe
    Item: Choice Scarf

Cofagrigus is best played as an offensive Trick Room user. Support sets are better done by Trevenant or Gourgeist, IMO:

    Trevenant:
    -Horn Leech/Wood Hammer
    -Earthquake/Rock Slide
    -Will-o-Wisp
    -Rest
    Nature: Impish
    EVs: 252 HP/180 Def/76 Spe
    Item: Leftovers/Lum Berry
    Ability: Natural Cure

    or
    -Horn Leech
    -Shadow Claw/Leech Seed
    -Will-o-Wisp
    -Protect
    Nature: Careful
    EVs: 244 HP/16 Def/248 SDef
    Item: Sitrus Berry
    Ability: Harvest

    or
    -Substitute
    -Leech Seed
    -Will-o-Wisp
    -Phantom Force
    Nature: Impish
    EVs: 252 HP/180 Def/76 Spe
    Item: Sitrus Berry
    Ability: Harvest

    Gourgeist (Super Size):
    -Will-o-Wisp
    -Leech Seed
    -Seed Bomb
    -Shadow Sneak/Protect
    Nature: Impish
    EVs: 252 HP/4 Atk/252 Def
    Item: Leftovers
    Ability: Frisk

Goodra also makes a neat Water resist:
    -Draco Meteor
    -Fire Blast
    -Thunderbolt/Sludge Bomb
    -Focus Blast/Dragon Tail
    Nature: Modest/Quiet
    EVs: 248 HP/252 SAtk/8 SDef
    Item: Choice Specs/Assault Vest
    Ability: Gooey/Sap Sipper

    or
    -Dragon Pulse
    -Flamethrower
    -Thunderbolt
    -Toxic/Dragon Tail
    Nature: Calm/Sassy
    EVs: 248 HP/8 Def/252 SDef
    Item: Leftovers
    Ability: Gooey/Sap Sipper
