3rd Gen I have a problem

    I have spent 140 hours, working hard, to complete my Pokedex on my Sapphire. I have finally done it. Without cheating. Now one of my friends has offered me $50 for it. I could use the money. Should I take it?

    HECK NO!!! only 50 bucks!? i would make the moolah go up to at least $70-$75 man! because if you worked that hard id say its not worth it...but have you caught Jirichi and Deoxys yet?
     
    Um... contradictory within your speech?

    First of all, how did you manage to get Jirachi and Deoxy to complete your RSDex (don't say the Pokedex or else it'll be the 386 version then)? Unless you went to a promotion, you cannot get Jirachi. There isn't evena known way to get Deoxy... so... care to explain?
     
    He probably meant the 200 you can obtain.

    If you need the money, sure. Then download Netbattle or IRC and RSBot to feed your hunger.
     
    If I were you, I wouldn't trade iut for the world. I have also completed my RSdex, and I see it as one of the biggest accoplishment of my pokemon loving life. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to achieve this level, and shouldn't be parted with easily. Fifty bucks is the same as any other fifty bucks, but your R/S game is like what you really are. it has your favorites , your deeds recorded down into the Television shows, Your saved Secret bases, your Fans at the trainer house, all your shinies, all your hard work, your league hall of fame. To just part with it now that it is completed is like selling a portion of your soul. You can take satisfaction from your hard work and noone should be able to put a price on that. Knowing you did it all by yourself and with no help, being able to look backon it whenever you choose, should be more satisfying than any amount of money anyone can give you. (End sermon:) )
     
    wow! 140 hours...*addicted* I completed my 'RSDex' in 75 hours. Yes and i have completed it 4 times :badsmile: can you say im addicted
     
    I think you should keep it because you worked that hard on it. I've played about 130 hours and only have caught 146 kinds of Pok?mon. But if you really need money it is totally up to you...
     
    If I had that, I'd never give it up. They might be planning to sell it for alot more, you never know.
     
    you can make money off of that. since you know where the pkmn are and how to catch them easily, selling the game, and buying another one and finishing the dex would be easy(then maybe someone else will buy it for 50)
     
    dont do it. id u did i'd say ur very very stupid (but i wont ;) i think my time (or urs)
    is worth more. would u sell aweek for 50 bux?
     
    this has been inactive for a few mounths i think a mod wil close this in the near future...
