Don't patronise me with really stupid questions. Anyone on this site will tell you psychic is a good move. I never doubted that in my initial post. I doubted your half-arsed advice. Offering a single move helps no-one.

Yes I know people have already explained to him how stupid his comment was, but i felt the need to explain to him how much crap he's talking about.

What the hell is that? A useless nature and two useless moves! If you don't want to be murdered by a Caterpie, I suggest you listen to shedinjask, who is more experienced with stragetic movesets than you. Mew serves as a great BPer, and is not meant to attack in that set (or in any set, really.)

Covers Most Ubers. I suggest that No-one here criticises the experienced Raters as they know far more than you. The only problem with Shedinjasks Post was that the old name for Nasty Plot was used.(Scheme)
Anyone who thinks the other movesets were a waste, please read this.
 
As I understand it, the uber meta has Darkrai, a ton of Psychic types, and Dialga. There's also Arceus, who may be resistant or immune to Psychic, depending on the held Plate (Multitype). So even though Mew's Psychic would have a STAB'd base power of 135, that gets sliced in half or nullified against most Pokémon. This is why we don't use Psychic on Mew. Yes, it's a good move, but it's unwieldy.

This is one I thought up. Darkrai will never use a Choice Scarf, so this allows Mew to outspeed it and really hurt it with Aura Sphere, which also hits Dialga.

Dark Pulse is for all the Psychic ubers, Dragon Pulse is for Rayquaza and Palkia, and Solar Beam is for Groudon. It's not much use against Kyogre, since it would get two free turns while you're charging Solar Beam (Drizzle's fault), nor Arceus because it would likely be holding an Insect Plate.

Now, I don't know what OU Pokémon are usually used in ubers alongside the legendary Pokémon, but I know Quagsire is a good counter for Kyogre because of Water Absorb. If it's not raining, Solar Beam can take care of him, too, though preferably while it's sunny.

I chose Dragon Pulse over Ice Beam here so that it would hit Palkia and Rayquaza, not just Rayquaza. I know it'll be less powerful against Rayquaza, but you can always switch.
 
Grass Rope needs to be over Solarbeam. It hits Kyogre too. Quagsire works somewhat on Kyogre, just watch out for Ice Beam.
 
So you revive this dying thread just to tell us this "important" piece of information?
