4th Gen I Have played pokemon in the past but i need help

    So i have played pokemon in the past but i havent played since the GBA. I cant remember anything about it. I can collect pokemon and i have traded pokemon from platinum to my diamond game because i bought both used and started a new game on the diamond but kept the platinum because some were really high levels. so yeah can anyone help me out with this game?

    well like i have 2 badges and i traded pokemon over lvl 20 onto game with the 2 badges yet none of them will listen to me when i ask them to attack. do the badges allow higher lvl pokemon to listen to you?
